A brand for everything, right? My small group of passionate product developers was branded SkunkWorks. The SkunkWorks team is now considered the think tank for new creative innovations moving the aquarium industry forward. We even created a custom logo and were awarded two Gold Addys at the local level and District Level.

Lifestyle Aquarium kits

Our retailers expressed concern that our aquarium kits did not have style that appealed to the consumer.  I realized that the current product development process was not set up to address this issue.  I assembled a small group of passionate people to develop a new line of beautiful, functional aquariums.  Notably, the design of the Silhouette kit has been so popular that it is the first US-developed kit that Europe has launched.

Color Fusion Decor

Walmart was looking for a way to reinvent their décor set.  I led the Skunkworks team to create new exciting, easy-to-shop décor.  We developed a branded décor program using color-changing LEDs to transform the aquarium.  This program was so well received that we were given over half the space in the décor set equaling over 2 million dollars in retail sales.
